Danone-Unimilk to consolidate under one legal entity
The biggest part of Danone-Unimilk integration was finished by the beginning of 2013. Starting from May 2013 a new name was introduced. All legal entities belonging to the Group will be consolidated under single name Group of Companies Danone in Russia.
For more than two years the company identified itself as Group of Companies Danone-Unimilk to stress consolidation of two big structures, and it’s time to declare a single and strong organization, believes Eve Legros, company’s CEO.
At the moment all main company’s functions are incorporated, employees in all Russian regions moved to mutual offices, joint warehouses were opened in 15 cities, more than 50% of sales volumes were also consolidated. It was decided to leave Danone brand due to its popularity in Russia and strong relation to dairy products. Danone logo will be used again.
