Deliveries of dairy products from Russia to China may begin in the III quarter - Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation
"Currently, 33 domestic companies can export dairy products to the Chinese market. The first deliveries are expected in the third quarter of this year", the report said.
The Ministry also notes that in recent years the Russian dairy industry has demonstrated positive dynamics of development.
"According to forecasts of the Ministry of agriculture, this year milk production will grow to 31.1 million tons (plus 1.6% to the level of 2018) ", said in the Ministry of agriculture.
On Monday, the Rosselkhoznadzor reported that China allowed the supply of dairy products to 23 Russian enterprises. In early November 2018, the Rosselkhoznadzor and the General customs administration of the PRC signed protocols on veterinary and sanitary requirements for mutual supplies of dairy products, as well as on inspection, quarantine, veterinary and sanitary control of mutual supplies of frozen poultry meat between Russia and China.
