By now the Agency has added data on Lely milking robots located at dairy enterprises of the Republic of Belarus to the DIA Milk map. In Belarus, 389 milking robots Lely Astronaut A3 Next and Astronaut A4 work at 53 dairy enterprises.
According to Jeroen Kaiser, CEO of Lely Rus LLC, the first farm with two Lely Astronaut robots in Belarus was launched in 2008. Almost all farms in the Republic are of the Dairy XL format - from 8 or more robots that serve a livestock of 500 cows.
"Almost all of these robots were installed within 5 years from 2010 to 2015 as part of a special state program for automation and modernization of farms", said Jeroen Keizer.-
At the moment, a number of projects for new robotic farms are underway. The main difference from the previous ones is that now funding is provided by private investors. All new projects are also Dairy XL farms (from 8 robots), which proves the effectiveness of robotic milking at large livestock enterprises".
