Dmitry Matveev: we are sorry that the finished dairy products were excluded from EVC
- I have to express my regret that it did happen. We were ready, honest producers were ready and I know that our partners – trading networks, distributors were ready. But unfortunately, our opinion remained "the voice of the crying in the wilderness", and the voices of opponents were louder, we were "shouted out" in the media space. I think the results (or just their absence) will be immediate. And for us and for consumers, this should be a lesson - not those who are right are listened to but those who shout louder. It is a pity that many months of discussions and preparation were almost crossed out in a couple of weeks and in a narrow circle. It is a pity, - Matveev summarized.
It should be reminded in accordance with the Federal legislation obligatory electronic veterinary certification began to operate on July 1, 2018. Earlier, the law "On veterinary" supposed the introduction of electronic veterinary certification system since January 1, after the postponement of six months the EVC entered into force.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of agriculture has prepared and published orders according to which part of the production is removed from the action of EVC. In particular, it is about dairy products made from pasteurized, ultra-pasteurized, high-temperature processed milk in consumer packaging.
In addition, the so-called composite products are removed from the system of veterinary certification.
