Dmitry Mironchikov: milk consumption in Russia will not grow
According to Dmitry Mironchikov, whey and cheese products can be considered as potentially export products.
- Milk consumption in Russia has not been growing in recent years and will not grow according to my expectations. At the same time, the growth of milk production by 1.5-2% will continue, – said the expert.
He also noted that the prospects for the development of animal husbandry in Russia are within a radius of 200 km from major cities. The regions that are distant from major Metropolitan areas are not recommended for investments.
Separately, during the discussion, the analyst raised the issue of the growth of “EkoNiva”, which is actively developing both production volumes and processing of its own raw materials.
- There is no villainy that large holdings develop, - Mironchikov declared.
