Dmitry Patrushev held a meeting with the leaders of the Ministry of agriculture on plans for the development of agriculture in 2019
As it was noted at the event, the increase in fuel prices last year led to significant additional costs for agricultural producers. In 2018 the Russian Government allocated 5 billion rubles for their partial compensation. This year, the Ministry of agriculture also considers it appropriate to provide budget allocations for these purposes.
As for the modernization of the agricultural machinery park, the participants of the meeting discussed prospects of the program of preferential leasing of JSC "Rosagroleasing", the implementation of which will speed up the process of technical modernization in agro-industrial complex.
Another important topic was the development of the project "Digital agriculture" this year. Since February 1, the “Analytical Center of the Ministry of agriculture of Russia” will create a new structural unit, which will implement pilot projects for the introduction of innovative technologies in agriculture in the regions. Its tasks will also include interaction with representatives of the agricultural business to determine the architecture of the digital platforms and services used.
