Due to the drought, farmers of Crimea received less than 4 billion rubles of income from the yield
"Despite the difficult weather conditions, harvesting of early grain and leguminous crops on the area of 548,000 hectares has been completed in the Republic. The most important factor in ensuring stable yields in drought conditions is the use of high-quality seed material adapted to the climatic conditions of the Crimea. For enterprises affected by the drought, the cost of elite seeds produced in the Research Institute of agriculture of the Crimea will be 16 thousand rubles per ton", said the Head of the Department.
The Minister also drew attention to the fact that the necessary documents were prepared and submitted to the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation for agricultural enterprises affected by the emergency.
"The packages of documents have passed an expert assessment. Currently, the Ministry of agriculture of Russia is preparing an order of the Government of the Russian Federation on the provision of funds to the Republic of Crimea to compensate the damage to enterprises affected by the emergency. Today, at 47 enterprises there have been confirmed the damage in the amount of 67 million rubles", - said Andrey Ryumshin.
The Head of the Ministry of agriculture also said that the key to high yields is the use of mineral fertilizers.
"Thus, the need of enterprises in mineral fertilizers for sowing winter crops for the harvest of 2019 is more than 29 thousand tons. To date, the provision of agricultural enterprises with mineral fertilizers is more than 80%, supplies continue", said the Minister.
