During the 13th week of 2020, domestic producer prices for raw milk decreased, on average, by 0.06 rubles/kg
According to experts, this is higher than on the corresponding date of 2019, by 1.07 rubles/kg. The price of pasteurized milk of 3.2% fat content for the week increased by 0.23 rubles/kg and on March 29 amounted to 45.20 rubles/kg, which is higher compared to the level of the last yea by 2.45 rubles/kg.
We remind that on April 6, 2020 the Dairy Index DIA amounted to 27.59 rubles/kg (without VAT, fat-3.6%, protein-3.0%), 0.1% lower than at last week and 6.7% higher than at the beginning of April 2019. The key factor in the decline of the index was the drop in import prices, due to a decrease in prices for exchange-traded dairy products, while prices for raw milk in Russian regions continued to grow, according to the Index DIA application
