During the period from 18 to 24 December pasteurized milk and butter became more expensive by 0.4%, cheese - by 0.5%. The cost of cheese rose by 0.3%, sterilized milk and sour cream – by 0.2%, reports The DairyNews with reference to the press service of the Federal state statistics service.
In general, weekly inflation in Russia accelerated to 0.3%. Prior to that, the growth of consumer prices for three weeks in a row remained at the level of 0.2%. Since the beginning of the year inflation in Russia gained 4.2% and since the beginning of December - 0.8%.
Over the past week, prices for chicken eggs increased by 3.5%, millet - by 1.6%, table salt - by 0.9%, chicken, sausages, sugar, pasta and rice - by 0.4%.
The increase in prices for fruits and vegetables averaged 2.6%, while cucumbers became more expensive by 8.1%, tomatoes - by 5.4%, white cabbage - by 3.7%.
Gasoline prices have not changed, diesel fuel increased by 0.1%.
