‘I see it as a person who supplies raw materials to factories,’ he said. ‘We also see a lot of cheese factories in projects - a new line is being launched at Kezsky, and Uva-Moloko is trying to launch one in Tatarstan. In Novosibirsk region, it seems that the EkoNiva project has been curtailed for the time being. It does not fit in there. I sometimes even drive by and check on the construction site.
Sergey Kovalkov also added that during the May holidays, there was an increase in prices for raw milk instead of a decrease.
‘We will run into the final demand and as a result we will get a reduction in prices. I do not see a winter increase yet. The current prices for milk still do not allow farmers to develop further, do not allow them to grow,’ the expert concluded.
