"EkoNiva-APK holding" will build a new dairy production in Smolensk region

Stefan Duerr plans to start the development of dairy farming in Smolensk region, for this purpose he purchased 2,300 hectares of agricultural land in Temkino district. Foreign businessman representing a large European holding company, by order of Governor Alexey Ostrovsky, is provided support in the implementation of the investment project by regional authorities since 2017.

At the end of October last year at the initiative of the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Sergey Neverov the real "troop" from the Ministry of agriculture landed in the region. Heads of relevant departments and first Deputy Minister Dzhambulat Khatuov visited almost all districts of the region. Particular attention was paid to the development of the dairy industry and attraction of new investments.  The plans of the investor were spoken about at the meeting of Sergey Neverov with the first Deputy Minister of agriculture Dzhambulat Khatuov and Stefan Duerr. As stressed by the participants of the meeting, work with the authorities of Smolensk region is going on at a rapid pace.
