EkoNiva has increased milk exports six times

Shipments are carried out from the group's dairy plant located in Anna district of Voronezh region. EkoNiva supplies ultra-pasteurized milk in a package of 1000 ml abroad.

China remains the main buyer of the company's products. For the first time, EkoNiva ultra-pasteurized milk appeared on the shelves of Chinese stores a year ago. Products in Russian-language packaging immediately found their consumers – in China, products from Russia are very much appreciated, because they have an image of natural, healthy and high quality. The average price of EkoNiva milk on the shelves in Chinese stores is from 9 to 12 yuan per liter (corresponds to 105-135 rubles).

Initially, the products were sold in the north-eastern part of China: in the provinces of Heilongjiang (including the cities of Harbin and Heihe), Jilin and Liaoning. Now the geography of sales is expanding: EkoNiva milk appears in retail outlets all over the east coast of China. New contracts have been signed with major local distributors.

Milk delivery from EkoNiva is currently carried out by sea through the ports of Dalian, Shanghai, Tianjin, Nansha and takes a little more than a month. In the future, it is planned to use railway logistics, this will significantly save time, resources and expand the range.

EkoNiva is interested in developing export markets. In the future, the company plans to supply products to the countries of Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

‘For EkoNiva, the export of dairy products is still a new direction, but we see a huge potential. For the company, the development of the export direction on the one hand means additional protection from currency fluctuations and volatility in the raw milk market, on the other hand, expanding the geography of its presence and new sales markets,’ says Vladimir Danielyan, Deputy Commercial Director of EkoNiva Agricultural Holding.
