EkoNiva Holding has frozen the construction of a dairy plant in Novosibirsk region

Evgeny Leshchenko, Minister of Agriculture of the region, told about the fate of the Novosibirsk project of the holding EkoNiva on Tuesday during a press conference. According to the Minister, there was practically no work on the project in 2021, although 7 billion rubles have already been invested in the future plant, almost all equipment has been purchased,’ explained Evgeny Leshchenko. 

The reason for the suspension of the dairy plant project, according to the Minister, is related to its rise in price. ‘And all this requires the approval of the Rosselkhozbank as the main creditor,’ said Evgeny Leshchenko. The Rosselkhozbank, according to him, has not yet resumed the licensing agreementline of credit.

In Novosibirsk region, the holding owns two companies: LLC Sibirskaya Niva (the founder is EkoNiva - APK Holding) and LLC Siberian Academy of Dairy Products (the founder is EkoNiva - Food Products). According to the service Rusprofile, the revenue of Sibirskaya Niva for 2020 exceeded 4.5 billion rubles, but at the same time the company's profit decreased by a third, to 82 million rubles. The revenue of the Siberian Academy of Dairy Sciences for the past year amounted to 82.6 million rubles, profit 15.5 million rubles. For both companies, the service notes dependence on creditors.
