EkoNiva initiated a bankruptcy claim against Interkros Center

According to EkoNiva press-service, debts for supplied agricultural machinery and fines for delay in payment at the amount of 130 million rubles became reason for that.
In January 2014 EkoNiva delivered to the company Konstanta (indirectly related to Interkros Center) agricultural machinery worth $500 thousand and €1 million. The goods were delivered on instalment plan with deadline payment date 31 July 2015. Interkros Center became security in the deal. The payment schedule was regularly violated, and since November 2014 the company stopped paying at all.
EkoNiva appealed to the Moscow City Arbitration Court. In November 2015 the court ordered the debtor to pay off the debt and fines. Interkros Center took a review against the judgment, but the claim wasn’t settled.
Since now neither the debtor nor the security didn’t make an attempt to pay off the debt. The situation appears to be strange from the point of views of EkoNiva representatives. Interkros Center is the biggest milk producer in Tula region with volumes exceeding 120 tons per day. For a company with these production capacities 130 million rubles is not a very big sum of money. Interkros Center’s head Aleksey Serov promised many times to clear the debts, but promises led nowhere.
On April 26th EkoNiva was forced to initiate a bankruptcy claim against Interkros Center.
