“EkoNiva” intends to invest more than 57 billion rubles in the construction of cheese factories
As it became known to The DairyNews during the exhibition "Agroexposibir", the holding “EkoNiva” will invest 57.1 billion rubles in the reconstruction and construction of cheese-making enterprises in Moscow, Voronezh and Novosibirsk regions.
The cheese factory “Shchuchye” in Voronezh region with a design capacity of 60 tons of milk per day will also produce fermented milk products and pasteurized milk. The planned commissioning period is the second quarter of 2020. Investments in the project is 1.1 billion rubles", - said the representative of "EkoNiva".
In addition, it is planned to invest 21 billion rubles in the cheese factory in Maslyanino in Novosibirsk region, with a processing capacity of 1150 tons of milk per day. 19 billion rubles is the loan of the Rosselkhozbank, as previously reported by The DairyNews.
The period of construction of the plant - 2020-2023. The range of products of the enterprise should include soft cottage cheese, hard and semi-hard cheeses, cream, pasteurized milk, butter.
In Stupino, in Moscow region, “EkoNiva” will implement a major project to build a plant and dairy complexes. 35 billion rubles will be invested in the plant with a capacity of 2 thousand tons of milk per day. Construction period - 2020-2023.
- “EkoNiva” is one of the largest producers of raw milk in Russia, according to data for 2017, 2.3% of raw milk in Russia is produced by this company. But today "EkoNiva" is involved in processing, and we see the positive moment in it - other processing companies, understanding that "EkoNiva" will reduce deliveries of milk, begin to develop own raw material base.
