Ekoniva is ready for the second stage of labeling of dairy products "Honest mark"
From the Ekoniva assortment, ultra-pasteurized milk, cream and butter fall under the mandatory requirements. They are produced at Anninsky dairy plant in Voronezh region and at the enterprise MosMedynAgroprom in Kaluga region. The changes affected four high-speed lines.
The labeling codes are applied to the products of the second stage in a typographic way, so the company can guarantee the quality and readability of the "Honest mark" on the products. At the same time, the lines will also produce products in packaging without a code applied – they are labeled by applying a sticker. For this purpose, additional equipment was ordered and the functionality of the internal accounting system was finalized.
‘The enterprises of Ekoniva started working on technical and IT solutions back in 2020. To implement the system, a working group was created consisting of specialists from the sites and specialized managers of the directions. The company also continues to be in constant contact with the relevant employees of the Center for Advanced Technologies Development (CATD) on operational issues of working with the system. All this made it possible to complete the debugging of technical and IT solutions in time for the correct application and commissioning of the DataMatrix codes "Honest mark"’ says Lyubov Aksenova, head of GR service of Ekoniva Group.
Labeling of dairy products started on June 1, 2021. At the first stage, the application of labeling codes became mandatory for ice cream and cheeses.
Earlier, The DairyNews learned from market participants how the enterprises approached the second stage, starting on September 1.
