“EkoNiva” is starting construction of dairy complexes in Moscow region
"As soon as snow melts, we will begin to build a dairy complex for 3 thousand cows. The next step is construction of a cheese factory", said Duerr.
According to the press service of the Ministry of agriculture and food of the region, the group plans to build two complexes in Stupino district for 2.8-3 thousand cows each. The agreement on their construction was signed at the forum in St. Petersburg; the capacity of the complexes is estimated at 200 tons of milk per day. "The cost of investments in complexes with forage production equipment will be about 1 million rubles per cow that is 3 billion rubles in total. Also here, in Stupino, this year there will be a milk processing plant with a capacity of 1.2 thousand tons per day", - said the Minister of agriculture and food of Moscow region Andrey Razin.
In November 2018 Duerr told that the construction of the plant in Stupino should also begin in 2019, and be completed by the end of 2021. The volume of investments will be about 20 billion rubles. He also said that the company has 500 thousand hectares of land in different regions, of which 18 thousand hectares are in Stupino district. According to Duerr, the authorities of Moscow region provide great support to the project. "Andrey Vorobyov constantly and, Minister of agriculture are both very interested in the project. Andrey Razin constantly asks about it, and sometimes it seems to me that he is more interested in our projects than we are", said Duerr.
“EkoNiva” is the largest Russian producer of raw milk. Last year the company was engaged in construction of 14 livestock farms in the five regions, the total investment in new production sites was estimated at 41.8 billion rubles By the beginning of 2019 the farms of the company operated in Voronezh, Kursk, Novosibirsk, Kaluga, Ryazan, Orenburg, and Tyumen regions on an area of over 500 thousand hectares. By the beginning of 2019 the total number of cattle was about 134 thousand animals, of which 68 thousand are forage-fed cows.
Also in the spring of 2019, “EkoNiva” plans to start the construction of three dairy complexes in Kursk region. As the commercial director of the company Sergey Lyashko told, each complex will be designed for 3.5 thousand heads of cattle. And in Novosibirsk region, the group has planned the construction of two livestock complexes for 3.5 thousand heads of cattle. Farms will be built on the lands previously owned by the holding "Raduga" of St. Petersburg businessman David Panikashvili.
