“EkoNiva” plans to build 7 more livestock complexes in Voronezh region by the end of the year
According to Mr. Durr, now dairy farms in the villages Peskovatka, Petropavlovka and Staraya Chigla in Bobrov, Liskiy and Anna districts are "at a high rate of readiness". Their opening is scheduled for the first half of the year. By the end of 2019, “EkoNiva” plans to build four more facilities in Nikolskoye, Buturlinovka and Marjino. We are talking about standard dairy complexes for 2.8 thousand heads each.
Stefan Durr said that now “EkoNiva” ranks first in Europe and seventh in the world in the rating of leaders in the production of raw milk (only three American and three Chinese manufacturers are ahead of the company). In the future, the group plans to reach the production of 3.5 thousand tons of raw milk per day. “EkoNiva” is aimed at leadership in milk production. In 2019 the group of companies is going to buy 30-40 thousand hectares of agricultural land in Voronezh region.
According to the Deputy Chairman of the government of Voronezh region Viktor Logvinov, in 2018 the volume of subsidies of “EkoNiva” amounted to 2.5 billion rubles. According to "Abireg", a year earlier the group received 1.4 billion rubles of state support.
The group of companies “EcoNiva” includes LLC "EkoNiva-APK Holding" (dairy and beef farming, crop and seed production) and LLC "EkoNiva Technika-Holding" (supply of imported agricultural machinery, servicing, parts).
The company operates in 10 regions: Voronezh, Moscow, Kursk, Novosibirsk, Orenburg, Tyumen, Ryazan and Kaluga regions, in the republics of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan. In 2017 “EkoNiva” produced 297 million liters of milk. The total area of farmland is 480 thousand hectares. The total population of cattle is 105 thousand heads.
In 2017 the total income of the parent company Ekosem-Agrar amounted to 246 million euros, EBITDA - 69.5 million euros. The parent company of the holding "EkoNiva" is Ekosem-Agrar registered in Germany, other owners are Stefan Duerr – 42,8%, the Chairman of the Board of Directors Robert Curn – 14.7% and Cyprus offshore Torentina (controlled by the shareholders of "Alfa-Bank") – 16%. Another 26.5% belongs to the top managers of “EkoNiva”.
