As it became known to The DairyNews, the division of GC "Ekoniva" - the company "Kaluzhskaya Niva" will bring the volume of milk production in Kaluga region to 400 thousand tons per year. This was stated at a meeting in the government of the region. The information was confirmed to The DairyNews by the owner of the agricultural holding Stefan Duerr.
"In Kaluga region we will launch two complexes, one of which is being completed. There are already four complexes; three more will be built and we will have 400 thousand tons of milk. This is possible with the current support. And the most important thing is to fight against falsification. We can compete with Belarusian supplies, with imports, but we will never be able to compete with vegetable fats and surrogate," said Stefan Durr in an interview to The DairyNews.
We will remind, at the end of last year, Kaluzhskaya Niva opened the third cattle-breeding complex in the region.
