“EkoNiva” will purchase the company "Detchinskaya"
The information was confirmed by the representative of "EkoNiva", in "Detchinskoye" they refrained from comments before completion of the transaction. The amount of the transaction for new enterprises in Kaluga region was not disclosed.
Earlier, the Minister of agriculture of the region Leonid Gromov stressed that "the construction of large production facilities is the main reserve for increasing milk production in Kaluga region". It should be noted that the region has been a leader in the growth rate of milk in agricultural enterprises for several years – by the results of 2018, the increase amounted to 18%, the total volume of milk produced in the sector of agricultural enterprises was 310.5 thousand tons. The region ranks 22nd in the top 30 regions-producers of milk at agricultural enterprises.
In 2018 in Kaluga region two largest dairy cattle-breeding complexes for 2 800 each were put into operation - LLC “Kaluzhskaya Niva” in the village Sugonovo and in the village Bogdanino of Ferzikovo district, there is carried out the implementation of the investment project of LLC "Zelyonye linii", as well as of major Vietnamese investor TH Group.
Earlier, the owner of “EkoNiva” Stefan Duerr stressed that the holding is aimed at processing all the milk produced. The volume of processing capacity of the holding "EkoNiva" is about 40 thousand tons of milk per year. The main volume is processed in the company "Mosmedynagroprom" (Kaluga region) and at the plant "Anninskoye moloko" (Voronezh region). Earlier in December 2018, the daily milk yield on the farms of the holdings exceeded 1500 tons.
At the beginning of the year, “EkoNiva” has already opened four complexes in Voronezh region and plans to build seven more in the same place. There were announced major projects of the holding in Bashkortostan (35 billion rubles), Tatarstan (10 billion rubles), Novosibirsk region, expansion in Ryazan region, access to Leningrad region and the construction of farms and a plant in Moscow region.
- By the results of 2017, “Kaluzhskaya Niva produced 29% of the total production of raw milk in Kaluga region. There is a serious consolidation of enterprises. In my opinion, Kaluga region had a very correct course for the development of small and medium-sized production and it had a good result. The more land is in one hand, the more risky it is for the region. Nevertheless, many regions today want to have Stefan Duerr as an investor. Meanwhile, market participants express certain doubts and concerns about the rapid development of "EkoNiva", - said Mikhail Mishchenko, Director of the Russian Dairy Research Center.
According to RDRC, "Kaluzhskaya Niva" will systematically increase production in the region, without opening new complexes, with an emphasis on the acquisition of existing farms. Taking into account the acquisitions, the company's share in the production of raw milk in the region will be about 33%.
As noted in “EkoNiva”, the acquisition of Agrofirm "Detchinskoye" is really planned.
- This farm is very conveniently located right in the middle between the lands of “Kaluzhskaya Niva” in Ferzikovo and Dzerzhinsky districts. And near the service center of "EkoNivaTchnika" in Detchino. It is planned to build a livestock complex for 3550 heads of cattle but it is still early to speak about timing. Today "Kaluzhskaya Niva" produces 455 tons of milk per day, it is processed at the plant of "EkoNiva" in Medyn district, as well as supplied to third - party customers, - said the representative of the agricultural holding.
