Elena Yashaeva: the farms of "AgriVolga" produce 18 tons of organic milk per day
- Three accredited enterprises produce 18 tons of organic raw milk per day. Other farms of the agricultural holding produce about 200 tons of raw inorganic milk per day, - said Elena Yashaeva.
In addition, the head of the holding noted that this year the company included "Voschazhnikovo" through the registration of lease agreements. Thus, the agricultural enterprise managed to avoid the harmful consequences of the bankruptcy procedure, such as the reduction of staff and production volumes. The capacity of this production site is 140 tons of milk per day.
The company plans that in 2020 the production of organic milk by the farms of the agricultural holding will increase by 10%, in addition, the production of inorganic raw milk will grow to 250 tons.
- We are considering the construction of a new farm in Yaroslavl region; it will be a dairy farm for 2 thousand head of productive dairy cattle. In 2020, the modernization of the Uglichsky cheese and dairy plant will be completed, the cheese-making unit with processing capacity of 100 tons of raw materials per day will start operating, - noted Elena Yashaeva.
The expert stressed that next year will be important for the development of organic agriculture in the country.
- In the coming 2020, the Russian law on organic production will come into force, and this is a huge important step for agriculture and the dairy industry. We will strive to increase the production of organic products. We hope that retail will expand the shelf for organic products, contributing to the promotion of healthy food and organic products, - summed up Elena Yashaeva.
