EVC will not be postponed

Earlier, Deputy Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Nikolay Vlasov assumed the postponement of EVC to 2019, noting that at the moment the State Duma and the Government are discussing the possibility of amending the Federal law to delay the introduction of "Mercury".

- The Ministry of agriculture on behalf of the government is engaged in this issue (postponing of the introduction of EVC in the system “Mercury”). No one can say yet what will be a result of this in the end, because in accordance with the normal procedure it will not be possible to postpone the timing, too little time left. It is necessary to make changes to the Federal law. However, the State Duma and the Government are working on this, — said Nikolay Vlasov.

Meanwhile, a few days ago, the official stressed that the Rosselkhoznadzor excludes the postponement of obligatory electronic veterinary certification.

In early June, reminds the DairyNews, the Head of the Ministry of industry and trade Denis Manturov stressed that the finished dairy products will be withdrawn from the action of "Mercury", instead it will be subject to labeling, introduced today by the Department of economic bloc.

Today, in an interview with Interfax, Deputy Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation Ivan Lebedev noted that the level of readiness for EVC in the regions of the Russian Federation is very high, and therefore the Department is quickly resolving the problems and is getting for the implementation of the system since July 1, 2018.
