Thus, 15 thousand tons of cheeses and cottage cheese (+26%) worth $ 50 million (+30%) were delivered to foreign markets. Deliveries of ice cream increased by 45% to $ 42 million (16 thousand tons), fermented milk products – by 9.2% to $ 40 million (39 thousand tons), milk and cream – by 0.3% to $ 27 million (29 thousand tons), whey – 2.4 times to $ 9.5 million (9 thousand tons), butter – by 16% to $ 7.4 million (2 thousand tons).
The main buyers of Russian dairy products are still Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Belarus. Kazakhstan increased purchases by 9.7% to $ 60 million (data for the EAEU for 5 months), Ukraine - by 31% to $ 29 million, Belarus - by 9% to $ 21 million. Exports to the United States increased 3.9 times to $ 13 million, mainly due to an increase in ice cream supplies, to Azerbaijan – by 13% to $ 8.3 million.
