Exports of agricultural products from Russia in January-October increased by 14%

In particular, grain exports increased by 14% to $7.542 billion, fat and oil products - by 17% to $3.73 billion, food and processing industry products - by 17% to $3.322 billion. However, the highest growth rates - by 43%, to $917 million - were achieved in exports of meat and dairy products.

At the same time, fish and seafood exports declined by 4% to $4.326 billion. The cost of a ton of exported products also decreased - by 1%, to $382.

The top three did not change. In the first place is China, which in 10 months imported Russian agricultural products worth $3.2 billion, which is 24% more than a year earlier. Fish is the basis of the supply. It was imported for $1.4 billion.

The EU is in second place. Exports to the Union amounted to $2.6 billion, which is 11% more than a year earlier. Fish also accounted for the main shipments, amounting to $916 million.

Turkey closes the top 3, the exports there has grown by 20%, to almost $2.5 billion, including $ 1.46 billion in grain. Another major buyer of Russian grain - Egypt is in fourth place. It imported agricultural products from Russia worth $1.4 billion (25% more), including grain worth $ 1.3 billion.

However, the largest growth rate in 10 months was demonstrated by Saudi Arabia. Deliveries to its market almost doubled, to $606 million from $305 million in the corresponding period last year.

In 2019, Russia exported agricultural products worth $25.6 billion. This year, according to the Federal project "Export of agricultural products", deliveries abroad are planned at the level of $25 billion. The Ministry of agriculture predicts that exports may actually exceed $27 billion.
