Earlier the antimonopoly body established that Danone Russia used non-transparent methods to calculate the base purchasing prices for raw milk for different suppliers which created discriminatory conditions for raw milk suppliers.
Saint Petersburg Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service fined Danone Russia 162 mln rubles. Earlier the antimonopoly body established that Danone Russia used non-transparent methods to calculate the base purchasing prices for raw milk for different suppliers which created discriminatory conditions for raw milk suppliers. In particular the milk supplier Agro-Trade informed that Danone decreased the milk price from 20 to 17.5 rubles per liter without obvious reasons.
The violation committed by Danone Russia is punishable by an administrative fine: for legal entities - 1%-15% of the income for selling goods on the market where the administrative violation was committed. Thus, the company was fined 162.4 mln rubles.
