Finished dairy products are officially removed from the action of "Mercury"
Earlier it became known that the Ministry of justice registered the orders 249 No. 51475, 250 No. 51476 and 251 No. 51477 of 28.06.2018, removing finished dairy products from the action of the EVC.
The order comes into force on July 1, 2018.
Deputy Prime Minister on agriculture Alexey Gordeev announced the removing of finished dairy products from EVC this week. Gordeev explained that since July 1, the products, for which paper certificates are currently being issued, will be transferred to the electronic certification system.
In addition, the Deputy Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Nikolay Vlasov said that most likely the finished dairy products will be removed from the action of EVC. The official, however, hopes that it will not last for long.
The Ministry of agriculture has prepared a draft order, which amended the list of controlled products, which must be accompanied by veterinary certificates. The document also identifies products that will not be included in this system – these are, first of all, finished dairy products in consumer packaging.
In addition, the so-called composite products will be removed from the system of veterinary certification.
In particular, these are processed products containing less than 50% of animal products, under the condition that such products have been thermally processed in their entirety until the natural properties of the raw product have been completely changed, products containing less than 50% (by weight) of pasteurized whole milk, skimmed milk, other milk raw materials and not containing other animal products, as well as products containing less than 50% of fish or crustaceans, molluscs or other aquatic invertebrates dried, salted, in brine and smoked.
