For five years, sales of soft cheeses in Russia have increased to 40.2 thousand tons (from 29.6 thousand tons). The annual growth rate was 2.3-15.3%.
It should be noted that soft cheeses are not the most popular category of cheeses for the Russian consumer, reports sfera.fm. This is due to the fact that the above mentioned products are quite new to the market.
The expansion of the presence of retail chains, where these cheeses are presented in a wide range contributes to the increase in sales of soft cheeses.
In addition, manufacturers have significantly increased sales volume through advertising campaigns that have helped to find new consumers of these products.
According to experts, by 2023 the sales volume of soft cheeses in Russia will reach 46 thousand tons. This is 14.2% higher than in 2018.
