Full transition to electronic veterinary certification of products will start from January 1, 2018, for those who do not have time there will be a transition period. Presumably for 6 months, said the Deputy head of Rosselkhoznadzor Nikolai Vlasov during a press conference in "the Russian newspaper", according to The DairyNews.
At the end of the transition period we will have a range of sanctions, the official said.
Sanctions will be applied to the regional veterinary service as well, if they will continue to sabotage the introduction of electronic certification.
"They won’t receive any concessions, so some of their leaders may lose either their positions, or job," said Nikolai Vlasov, noting that in 10 regions of Russia (including St. Petersburg), still no electronic veterinary certificate was registered.
