George Zhitmarev: consumption of dairy products may increase
"It does not follow from the drop in general consumer demand that it will drop in the dairy category. In such a situation, the opposite is true: the demand for the dairy category may grow to such an extent that raw milk may not be enough. In an environment of instability and rising prices, people are abandoning expensive products and switching to simpler products. Milk is one of them", said George Zhitmarev.
The expert also added that the increase in prices due to the increase in the cost of imported components of production affects the dairy industry much less than, for example, the meat industry.
