Germany is the leader among European countries in the import of products from Russia — Ministry of agriculture
"The leader among European countries in terms of imports of domestic products is Germany, where we supply chocolate (20%), flour (6%) and sugar (6%) confectionery products, tea (5%), sauces and products for their preparation (3%), ready or canned fish and caviar (1%), ice cream (1%)", — told the Ministry.
Russian products are also present in the markets of Latvia, Serbia, Great Britain, Finland and Poland.
At the same time, the largest volumes of sales of Russian finished agricultural products (about 50%) fall on the EAEU countries.
In general, in 2018, exports from Russia exceeded imports by $211.6 billion, amounting to more than $450 billion.
The basis of Russian food exports are wheat and grain (36% of total food exports), fish products (17%), sweets and confectionery products (4.6%) noted in Rusprodsoyuz.
