Gordeev considers it necessary to increase the financing of the state program on agriculture to 400 billion rubles a year
This view was expressed by the Deputy Prime Minister during a working meeting with the Chairman of the Agrarian Committee of the State Duma Vladimir Kashin. The meeting focused on the State Duma's consideration of the draft law on the Federal budget for 2019-2021 and on the beginning of the preparation of a new state program for the development of rural areas.
"During the discussion, there was noted the increase in Federal budget expenditures for the development of agriculture, from 242 billion rubles to 304 billion rubles in 2019 and from 242 billion rubles to 295 billion rubles in 2020. At the same time, 312 billion rubles are planned to be allocated from the Federal budget for agriculture in 2021", the press service said.
Gordeev stressed that all budget funds aimed at the development of agriculture should reach the final recipients and be used as efficiently as possible, including through the mechanism of parliamentary control. A number of areas in agricultural production also require further strengthening of state support.
"The goals to increase the production of milk, beef, fruit and vegetable products, and related tasks to increase the number of farm animals, areas of perennial plantations, acreage, capacity of transport and logistics infrastructure, determine the need to bring funding of the state program to the level of more than 400 billion rubles a year", -said the representative of the Deputy Prime Minister.
