Group of companies "Damate" increased revenue in 2018 to almost 18 billion rubles
Over the past five years, the average annual growth rate (CAGR) of the group's revenue has been above 42%, which allowed “Damate” to increase its revenue more than 4 times in 5 years. Net profit for the group after paying taxes in 2018 amounted to 593 million rubles, writes The DairyNews, citing the press service of the group of companies.
In 2018, the group of companies "Damate", actively developing three areas - turkey production, dairy farming and milk processing - showed steady growth in all segments:
Due to the growth of turkey production to 88 thousand tons per year, and despite the unfavorable market situation in the first half of 2018, revenue in the sector of "production and processing of turkey" increased by 23%.
A significant expansion of the range of dairy products at JSC "Dairy plant "Penzensky" and the launch of a new line for the production of baby food in early 2018 allowed to increase the revenue in the segment of "Milk processing" (on comparable indicators, excluding cheese sales) by 13%. In 2018 the leading processor in Penza produced 44.5 thousand tons of dairy products.
The planned reach of the design capacity by the largest Siberian dairy complex "Damate", located in the Tyumen region, allowed to increase revenue in the sector of "Dairy farming" more than 4 times to 1 billion rubles. The volume of raw milk production at the complex for the year increased 5 times to 32.3 thousand tons.
