Group of companies Molvest increased its revenue in the first half of the year by 5.6% - to 13.2 billion rubles

For the first six months of this year, such categories as yogurt (+5.3%), butter (+5%), cream (+8.2%) and cheese (+15.6%) showed the most sales growth. The increase in sales is due to the release of new products and an increase in the efficiency of distribution channels. In general, the holding produces about 280 types of dairy products, including cheeses (semi-hard varieties and soft-salted), milk, kefir, yoghurts, butter, cottage cheese.

The volume of processing of raw materials increased by 7.5% and amounted to 272.7 thousand tons of milk. The holding annually processes more than 500 thousand tons of milk. About 300 tons are received daily from the own farms of the Group of companies Molvest located in Voronezh region. They keep cows of highly productive breeds - Jersey, Montbeliard and Holstein, whose milk is characterized by a high content of proteins and fats.

The export of products increased 4 times (315.7%) and amounted to 610 tons. Molvest has started developing export supplies since 2020. Now it is one of the strategic directions of the company. In the autumn of 2020, deliveries of whole-milk products (ultra-pasteurized cheeses, yoghurts, butter, cheeses, cream) to neighboring countries were established. At the beginning of this year, Molvest began exporting permeate to China. This is a dry ingredient from whey with a high lactose content, which is used in the confectionery and dairy industries.

‘We have two export product lines – whole milk products and dry milk ingredients, which we supply in the B2B segment to manufacturers of confectionery, sports nutrition, bakery products, animal feed. Last autumn, we started supplying whole-milk products to Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia and Uzbekistan. Currently, the company is negotiating the supply of whole-milk products with Singapore, Japan and the United Arab Emirates,’ said Anatoly Losev, General Director of Group of companies Molvest.
