"This is very hard news. We hoped to the last that this might not be true. But when the government of Tatarstan confirmed this sad news, everything became clear. He was a man of business. It meant a lot both for the industry and directly for Tatarstan. Both as a person and as a family man. In all respects, it was a real man. He constantly provided all kinds of help to people. He was a very intelligent, literate man. Always, whenever they asked him for help, even if he was not aware of this issue, he always tried to help", said Natalia Boeva, a State Duma Deputy.
"We worked together for 10 years; we were at the origins of “Soyuzmoloko”. He was my friend and companion - a man I respected immensely. I called him last week and we arranged to meet. I can't believe this terrible tragedy happened. Loving memory and condolences to family and friends", wrote former Chairman of the Board of “Soyuzmoloko” Andrey Danilenko on his page.
"Airat Khairullin had far-reaching plans for joint activities with the industry community aimed at the benefit of the industry. The sector has lost Airat Nazipovich, one of the strongest lobbyists for the interests of domestic milk producers, and this is an irreparable loss. We deeply condole with the family, friends and the crew of Airat Nazipovich", - said the official representative of "Soyuzmoloko".
Businessman and the State Duma Deputy Airat Khairullin was killed in a helicopter crash on February 7, 2020.
Last respects for Airat Khairullin took place on Saturday, February 8, in Kazan.
