"Hochland Russland" filed a statement of claim against Roskontrol for 1 million rubles

We will remind, on February 1, 2017 on the TV channel TVC in the program "Natural selection" there were published the testing results of popular brands of curd cheeses in Russia. The authors emphasized the objective and independent approach to testing, claimed the right of manufacturers to conduct repeat tests in case of their disagreement with the results. The examination was conducted by NP "Roskontrol" without official authority to control or supervise food producers in Russia.

As it was reported to The DairyNews in the company-manufacturer of fresh cheese, in order to protect the good name and reputation, "Hochland" before the broadcast on the television had a re-test of the same batch of cream cheese Hochland brand on the starch content by the arbitration method, in compliance with all mandatory regulatory procedures for the GOST R 54759-2011, which completely refuted the statement "Roskontrol": according to the official test report No. 245 of 27.01.2017 g. starch in the product is not detected. The company "Hochland" also conducted a similar test in relation to curd cheese Almette brand. According to the official test report No. 769 of 17.02.2017 g. starch in the product is not detected. 

Currently, on the website of Roskontrol cheese Hochland was put by the organization in the black list and it is not recommended for purchase. There was also published an article "Curd cheese - healthy breakfast? Not at all!", where the results of the study of the products of "Hochland Russland" were indicated.

According to the portal E-justice, the court of first instance in the case of protection of business reputation will take place on 7 August.
