Igor Petrishenko: Belarus supplied and will continue to supply high-quality dairy products to Russia
- In any circumstances we should not and will not lose our Russian consumer. Moreover, there is a need for high-quality dairy products, and who else should replace the free capacity of the Russian market.
Petrishenko stressed that Belarusian enterprises do not have special production lines for the domestic market. Absolutely identical goods are supplied to Belarus itself and for export.
- We deliver to more than 90 countries of the world, and nowhere have we received so many claims as we receive from the Rosselkhoznadzor. And, in our opinion, they are not always adequate and reasonable in terms of strict compliance with the norms, rules and parameters existing in our Eurasian Economic Union, - said the Ambassador.
According to Igor Petrishenko, full closure of the product groups is possible only in case of unfavorable epizootic situation.
The Ambassador noted that there are grounds to challenge the decisions of the Rosselkhoznadzor in court.
- But we believe that we have other mechanisms, in addition to the courts, to resolve the situation. There is a platform of the Union state, there is the EEC and there is a working group on agriculture. We believe that at this stage in our bilateral relations, we should not seek the assistance of the courts. We are able to work out agreed measures, to find mutually acceptable solutions without involving the courts, - said Igor Petrishenko.
Earlier it was reported that Moscow and Minsk are updating the “road map” to remove restrictions on the supply of dairy products.
