Import duties for certain groups of food products from Moldova will be canceled since 2019
– We are talking about commodity items of the agro-industrial complex: fruit and vegetables (apples, grapes and everything regarding vegetables). And most importantly, exports are significant for these groups of goods. 60% of all young grapes of Moldova go to the Russian market, 76% of peaches and 99% of total apple production. In addition, duties will be removed for products of the canning industry and the wine industry, – said Igor Dodon.
The President of Moldova added that the main market for the supply of Moldovan wine products at the moment is Belarus – 30% of export products are delivered there, while only 10% are supplied to Russia.
Earlier, Igor Dodon noted that the current trade restrictions prevent the growth of Moldovan exports to Russia.
