In 2015 Russian import of cheese and cottage cheese decreased by 36.5% and reached 201 thousand tons.
Import of milk and non-concentrated cream totaled 246 thousand tons or 82.1% to the level of 2014. Import of concentrated milk and cream increased by 3.1% to 200 thousand tons, including 142 thousand tons of milk and dried cream (+7.8% vs 2014). Import of butter in 2015 dropped by 29.5% to 88.5 thousand tons.
It’s worth mentioning, that import of palm oil and its fractions grew by 25.8% in 2015 and totaled 889 thousand tons. In December 2015 import of this products reached 94.9 thousand tons what is 48.7% more compared to December 2014.
