Prices for raw milk in 2019 will remain at high level, said experts during the international forum "Development of the dairy industry in China-2019", reports The DairyNews.
According to Christophe Lafougere, Managing Director of Research Agency GIRA (France), we should not expect the sharp drop in prices for raw milk this year. This is primarily due to high prices in the US, as well as adverse weather conditions in the southern hemisphere, primarily in Australia and New Zealand.
As noted by Manager on international markets of the Association of Australian Dairy Sarah Xu, in 2018/19 the production of raw milk in Australia decreased significantly due to severe drought.
