Imports of goods from non-CIS countries, according to preliminary data of customs statistics, in January-April 2021 amounted to $78 billion 380.2 million and compared to the same period in 2020 increased by 25%, in April imports increased by almost 50%, reported the FCS on Friday.
In the import of food products, purchases of vegetable oil increased in April 1.9 times, cereals - by 48.4%, alcoholic and non - alcoholic beverages - by 38.1%, fish - by 33.3%, sugar - by 24.2%. At the same time, the supply of vegetables decreased by 18.3%, meat and offal - by 17%, tobacco - by 8%, dairy products - by 6%, fruits and nuts - by 1.5%.
