In particular, meat purchases decreased by 26.9% to $87.7 million. Thus, the imports of poultry meat fell by 23.3% to $11.6 million, pork - 52 times to $0.7 million, beef - increased by 9.4% to $57.8 million. Supplies of fish and aquatic invertebrates decreased by 15.8% to $104.9 million, dairy products - by 10.4% to $66.7 million, vegetables - by 20.7% to $151.2 million. Imports of sugar decreased by 14.8% to $17.7 million, vegetable oil - by 16.1% to $93.4 million, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages - by 11.1% to $169.1 million, tobacco - by 32.9% to $69.1 million. In April the share of agricultural products in total imports to Russia was 12.7% compared to 12.8% in March this year.
The Federal customs service also reported that in January-April, imports of cereals decreased by 56%, fruits and nuts - by 24.6%, vegetables - by 21.4%, dairy products - by 19.3%, sugar - by 18.5%, alcoholic and non - alcoholic beverages - by 13.6%, vegetable oil - by 12.7%, meat and offal - by 10.7%, fish - by 5.6%. Tobacco imports increased by 5.9%.
