In June Russia produced 118 thousand tons of cheese and cottage cheese

According to Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) data, in June 2016 Russian companies produced 118 thousand tons of cheese and cottage cheese.
This is 0.3% less compared to June 2015 and 1.5% less compared to May 2016.
Production of raw processed milk in June 2016 reached 451 thousand tons (+1.9% vs. June 2015); production of butter reached 26.1 thousand tons (+ 7.3% tons vs. May 2016, -1.5% vs. June 2015).
In June 2016 production of condensed dairy products reached 64.3 million of standard cans, production of yoghurts totaled 62.5 thousand tons, sour cream – 51.7 thousand tons, ice-cream and frozen dessert – 58.5 thousand tons.
