In November the purchase of milk by the Russians increased by 1.7%

According to ROMIR, in spite of a slight decrease in the total expenditures of the Russians in November, the index Coffee with Milk continued its growth during the past four months, according to The DairyNews.
According to ROMIR, in November, the Russians paid 1.9% more for the chocolate, 2.4% - for milk, 3.1% - for coffee and 9.4% - for water. And despite the small rise in price for components of the index “Coffee with milk”, the Russians bought them a little more than a month earlier: 1% more water, 1.5% more chocolate and 1.7% more milk. Coffee lost 0.8%. of the amount.

The annual growth of the index primarily owes its growth to the increase in prices for ingredients. During the year coffee increased by 4.8%, chocolate - by 9.8%, and milk - by 11.5%. Only bottled water became cheaper - by -4.6%. But the Russians bought it in November nearly 10% more than the year before. The volume of purchases of chocolate also increased during the year – by 2.4%. But the Russians bought a little less milk (-6,5%) and coffee (-2,7%) than in November last year.

But in Moscow the situation with the index “Coffee with milk” is totally different. The Capital index lost 0.9% in November compared to October and stopped at the value 1154.

In November prices for almost all components of the Index except for coffee went up. The chocolate added 0,5% to the price, water went up by 3.9%, milk – by 4.1%. Coffee fell on average by 6,7%. And, accordingly, the Muscovites immediately reduced the volume of purchases of more expensive ingredients. Chocolate lost 1,9% in the amount, water was purchased by 2,2% less and milk – by 4.6% less.
