In Sverdlovsk region there will be created an agro-industrial cluster for 10 billion rubles
According to Mr. Kremko, the cluster will be engaged in animal husbandry (up to 2.5 thousand head of cattle, including 1.2 thousand milking cows), crop production, processing of agricultural products and others. "We have a principle: we will grow and process and sell ourselves without intermediaries. Then it is profitable to be engaged in agriculture, the level of profitability is 70-80%", he stressed. Production capacity will be about 30-35 tons of milk per day.
The farm will be automated. "In Russia, as a rule, one person serves six cows. We have one to 50: for three buildings there will be one person and automatic milking. The cow is free in its movements: it can lie, eat and go to the milking – everything as at home. There's even a machine that scratches the belly", - said Mr. Kremko.
