In the first half of 2019 milk production increased by more than 200 thousand tons
In particular, milk production in agricultural organizations increased by 2.9% and in peasant farm holdings - by 4.3% and 1208.1 thousand tons, respectively.
For 6 months, the average milk yield per cow in agricultural organizations (except microenterprises) amounted to 3250 kg, which is 5.2% more than in the first half of 2018. In 33 constituent entities of the Russian Federation the figure is higher than the average Russian level, in three constituent entities milk yield per cow is more than 4 thousand kg.
The largest increase in milk production was provided by the farms of Voronezh (+46.1 thousand tons), Belgorod (+32.7 thousand tons), Kaluga (+25.5 thousand tons), Kirov (+21.9 thousand tons), Tyumen (+15.5 thousand tons) regions, the Udmurt Republic (+18.2 thousand tons) and the Republic of Tatarstan (+16.2 thousand tons).
