In the near future there will be formed a “road map” for the implementation of electronic veterinary certification (EVC)

Executive Director of the National Union of milk producers Artem Belov and representatives of companies - members of the Union participated in the meeting under the supervision of the Director of the Veterinary Department of the Ministry of agriculture of Russia Vladimir Shevkoplyas, reported the press service of Soyuzmoloko.

The Head of the Directorate of the Dairy Union of Russia Ludmila Manitskaya during the event suggested the need to increase the number of pilot projects involved in the dairy industry, and also expressed readiness to further work. In addition, Lyudmila Manitskaya noted that the postponement of the introduction of EVC for several years at the request of transnational corporations would lead to a situation occurring with other activities in the industry, which are for many years postponed from year to year and are not introduced.

It is known that the participants of the meeting discussed the schedule of implementation of the stages of the introduction EVC in pilot projects and agreed to submit agreed positions to the Department.
