Industrial production in Russia grew by 1.1%
According to Rosstat, the index of industrial production in Russia in 2016 compared to 2015 made 101.1%, according to The DairyNews.
The industrial production index in December 2016, compared to December 2015, amounted to 103,2%; compared to November 2016 – 107,4%. The value of the index in 2015 compared to 2014 was 96.6%.
In 2016, Russia produced 247 thousand tons, which is by 3.5% lower than last year. Production of cheese and cheese products amounted to 600 thousand tons compared to 585 thousand tons in 2015. Production of liquid processed milk in 2016 amounted to 5.5 million tons, which is 1.2% more than in 2015.
