Such conclusions were expressed by the expert of "Streda Consulting" during the seventh meeting of "Dairy sessions", writes The DairyNews. Until 2022, a large number of additional capacities have been announced, up to 35 thousand tons in soft cheeses and up to 150 thousand tons in hard cheeses.
According to experts, the growth of additional capacity will cover 80% of retail sales in soft cheeses and up to 35% of consumption of hard cheeses.
"Several new major players are entering the market. This will significantly increase the level of competition and further hit the marginality of players - inefficient enterprises will leave the market", analysts believe.
Earlier we wrote that according to Alexey Martynenko, Head of "Umalat", the cheese market in Russia will grow.
