Ingushetia will open a milk processing plant with exports to China and the Netherlands
"By the end of the year, we plan to complete the implementation of an investment project to create a milk processing plant in order to launch the enterprise in 2021. The project will not only cover the needs of the region for dairy products for a certain share, but also supply products within the country and export them to China and the Netherlands. These are dairy products made from raw milk - sour cream, butter, kefir, yogurt, cottage cheese, cheese, and milk powder", said Buzurtanov.
According to him, the enterprise has offers already to purchase products from the plant from both Russian regions and foreign countries that are ready for cooperation.
"When the plant is launched, the investor will be able to supply all the volumes to Moscow, and if the volume increases, the products can be delivered to China. The investor was also visited by representatives of the Dutch company DMA Trans B. V., who intend to deliver a dairy herd of up to 1300 heads, with a potential of 40 liters of milk per cow per day to the region with GPS sensors, in order to produce cheese using German technology, which they will purchase from the plant", said the respondent of the Agency.
Buzurtanov added that the project concept implies the creation of an enterprise with a capacity of up to 11.9 thousand tons of finished products per year. The launch of the plant will also create new jobs in the Republic with a high level of unemployment.
"The company will create more than 60 jobs, and the plant will also be able to help local farmers from whom it will buy raw milk. The investor has already agreed with the Association of peasant farms in the region. The plant will be able to cover up to 100% of the needs of state institutions for high-quality dairy products at a competitive price, as well as produce products that make up 12% of the annual consumption of dairy products only in the Republic", said the head of the Corporation.
According to him, the investor intends to focus on the environmental friendliness of future products.
"The production will be created with an emphasis on preserving the environment, which is manifested both in the environmental friendliness of the products, and in the use of modern waste-free technologies and equipment for production. And since milk prices in Ingushetia are among the lowest in Russia, this will allow setting a low price for manufactured products by about 5-15% of the average price on the wholesale dairy market", added Buzurtanov.
