Investors from Denmark will open a dairy farm in Kaliningrad region

In Kaliningrad region, investors from Denmark scheduled to launch a dairy farm in the region. This was discussed at a working meeting with acting Minister of agriculture Natalia Shevtsova and managers of the group of companies Rus Agro Team A/S.
The agricultural holding is developing several activities in the region. In the line CJSC "Kuibyshevskoe" is engaged in the production of cereals and rapeseed and animal husbandry. "One of the main directions of our development is the expansion of dairy farming through the construction of new dairy complexes", — said the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the agro holding Christine Ansby.
The construction of the complex for almost two thousand heads is planned for this year in Nesterov district. The annual volume of milk production will amount to 6 thousand tons. Currently, there are about 1.5 thousand heads of cattle at the enterprise, at the end of 2016; the volume of milk produced exceeded 3 thousand tons. Christine Ansby also noted the important role in realization of business plans of state support. So, in 2016, CJSC "Kuibyshevskoe" received budgetary support in the amounting of more than 17 million rubles, informed in the government of Kaliningrad region.
"One of the priorities of the regional government and the Ministry is to create favorable conditions for business operating in the agricultural sector, regardless of who is owner, regardless of business volumes", — said Natalia Shevtsova.
CJSC "Kuibyshevskoe" employed over a hundred local residents. In 2016, the sown area of agricultural crops amounted to about 5 thousand hectares, there was produced about 12 thousand tons of grain. In 2017, the sown area will be increased by nearly 600 acres and will exceed 5 thousand hectares.
